• EasyJet resolves Stelios dispute

EasyJet has reached an agreement to resolve its ongoing dispute with EasyGroup and Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou over the terms and operation of the EasyJet brand licence.

Under the terms of the agreement, EasyJet can enter into co-branding agreements with other companies which offer products or services sold on board a flight or in an airport, including those in competition with EasyGroup businesses, such as hotels. However, EasyJet will pay EasyGroup 0.25% of its annual revenues, with a minimum of £3.9m and £4.95m to be paid in the first and second years respectively.
