A US court has dismissed claims of price fixing by OTAs and hotel groups. A Dallas judge said agreements between chains and OTAs were not anti-competitive, but “rational”, reports Reuters.

The lawsuit accused Starwood, IHG and Marriott alongside Expedia, Orbitz and Priceline as being complicit. The class action claimed that price parity agreements between individual hotel chains and OTAs were inherently anti-competitive.
