• Kenya market hit
Hotels in Kenya are being closed and mothballed, after foreigners were advised not to travel there. At least 20 hotels have closed, while those open have occupancy rates as low as 12%, reports Bloomberg. 

Governments including the UK and US have advised against travel to the country, following a number of terrorism attacks. Tourism has been badly hit, with arrivals already down 20% last year.
