A new hotel is to be created in the former shipyard offices where Titanic was designed. The Belfast buildings form part of what was once one of the world’s largest shipyards, reports the Belfast Telegraph.
The restoration of the buildings will be supported by a GBP4.9m grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. An 84 room four star hotel is planned, alongside new public spaces created from the former drawing office.
