• Tifco sale progresses

Apollo Global Management is poised to buy Irish hotel group Tifco. The group, controlled by Goldman Sachs, has a 2,600 room portfolio, reports the Sunday Times.

Tifco owns 18 hotels, many operating under Crowne Plaza and Travelodge flags, has management contracts with other properties and has two development sites in Dublin. Goldmans picked up Tifco in 2014, buying its debt from the liquidator of IBRC.
