Apollo Capital Management is buying Ireland’s second largest hotel group, Tifco. The deal for the 18-strong group is reckoned to have been struck for around EUR600m, reports the Irish Times.
Tifco operates properties under Travelodge, Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza and Hilton brands, as well as individual properties. Goldman Sachs took majority control of Tifco in 2014, after buying its debt from IBRC.
