    Budapest conversion

    IHG has signed to convert a Budapest hotel to its Crowne Plaza flag. Owner Granit Polus Group will renovate its 230 room hotel alongside the city’s West End retail centre.     Two for Whitbread

    Whitbread has signed two Travelodge hotels for conversion to its Premier Inn format. The sites, in Bury St Edmunds and Uxbridge, west London are owned by separate private landlords.     Airbnb files for IPO

    Listing platform Airbnb turned a net profit of USD219m in the third quarter, on revenues down 18% at USD1.34bn.
