• Accor narrows H1 loss

Accor reported a first-half net loss of Eu64m (£52m), against Eu236m in the same period last year, in its first results since spinning off its vouchers business.

Ebitdar was up 13% to Eu833m, with revenue climbing by 4.7% like-for-like to Eu2.69bn. The group said that second-half visibility remained "limited, due to the still uncertain economic environment" and has set its full year Ebit target to between Eu370m and Eu390m.
