• AHG loses Loch Lomond bid

The Alternative Hotel Group is reported to have seen its bid for the Loch Lomond Golf Club  rejected in favour of a sale to the venue’s members.

AHG, which owns the adjoining De Vere Cameron House Hotel, is thought to have offered around £30m. Each of the club’s 850 members are expected to pay £35,000 to fund the deal. Both AHG and the club are controlled by Lloyds Banking Group.
