Brazil Hospitality Group has bought the Hotel Odara in Cuiaba for an undisclosed sum.
The group said the hotel based in Mato Grosso and to be branded Golden Tulip is part of its strategic plan to invest in large urban areas with a focus on business travel. Cuiaba is currently one of Brazil’s top agribusiness hubs. The city has also been selected as one of the hosts of the 2014 World Cup. Following the acquisition, Brazil Hospitality, the country’s third-largest hotel company, now has 32 hotels, 16 it owns and 16 managed for it. It has an exclusive agreement with Golden Tulip Hospitality Group to use its brands.
