• Club Med narrows loss

Club Méditerranée narrowed its net loss to Eu14m for the year to 31 October, against a Eu53m loss in the previous year.

Winter bookings were up 14.7% in the period to 4 December. "Fiscal 2011 is shaping up favourably, with a Club Med that now generates underlying free cash flow while also recording double-digit growth in winter bookings and simultaneously opening two new villages-a series of events that we haven’t seen for a long time," said chairman and CEO Henri Giscard d’Estaing.
