• European hotel guests less satisfied with services

Recession-hit hotel guests are feeling less happy about their hotel experiences at every level apart from the budget sector, according to new research. JD Power’s 2010 European Hotel Guest Satisfaction Index Study finds overall satisfaction remaining stable, but with distinct issues arising.

A positive interaction with hotel staff significantly improves satisfaction, the survey found. And guests are increasingly expecting good broadband services, with loyalty cut should this not be provided.
