• Expedia tops online spending

According to figures obtained by US magazine Advertising Age, Expedia is one of the top online advertisers, spending $9 million on Google advertising during June 2010. Expedia laid out $5.95 million and its subsidiary Hotels.com $3.3 million on Google Adwords.
