London was ranked third in global occupancy rankings in 2010, with 82.1%, leading Europe, according to analysis of figures from STR Global and Smith Travel Research by Deloitte.
Revpar rose by 11.7%. Alex Kyriakidis, global managing director of tourism, hospitality & leisure at Deloitte, said: "Revpar growth gained momentum in the capital during 2010 and the results were good despite the current economic uncertainty facing the UK economy. 2011 may prove to be more challenging, however, as the city starts to see new hotel supply come on board in the run up to the 2012 London Olympic Games."
