• NAMA acquires Eu71.2bn in loans

Ireland’s National Asset Management Agency has completed the acquisition of 11,000 property loans totalling Eu71.2bn, at an average discount of 58%.

Chairman Frank Daly said that NAMA had concluded a review of business plans from the top 30 developers which account for approximately Eu27bn of the acquired loans. NAMA is currently finalising plans to acquire further loans with a nominal value of up to Eu16bn.
