• Premier Inn H1 revpar up 9.4%

Premier Inn reported like-for-like occupancy up by 9.2 percentage points to 79.3% with revpar up 9.4% for the half-year to 2 September.

Whitbread, the brand’s parent group, reported revenue up 14.5% to £805.4m, with  underlying profit before tax of £151.8m, a 28.4% increase. Premier Inn has a secured pipeline of around 11,000 rooms, which will deliver 25% growth in the UK estate.
