• TUI puts Egypt cost at up to £30m

TUI Travel has warned that the political unrest in Egypt and Tunisia could cut between £25m and £30m from second-quarter revenues.

Peter Long, CEO, said: "Early indications are that customers are choosing to rebook to alternative destinations and we are taking action to remix our programmes in line with customer demand." The comments came as the group reported first quarter revenue up 6% to £2.69bn.
