• Vietnam steps up tourism development

A US$2bn leisure development in Long An Province is part of Vietnam’s bid to make the Mekong Delta a major tourist destination. Construction work on Happyland Vietnam will commence next spring for completion in 2014.

A 2015 target of 37,150 hotel rooms, rising to 50,000 by 2020, will help attract an expected 3.9 million visitors.
