The Times has reported that a luxury Waldorf Astoria hotel with a butterfly house in the lobby is to open in November in Syon Park, the 200-acre estate in London owned by the Duke of Northumberland.
The £60m hotel 137-room hotel is being built by the Ability Group. It will be run under a long-term management contract by Hilton Worldwide, the American owner of the Waldorf Astoria brand. There are 22 Waldorf Astoria hotels around the world including the Trianon Palace, at Versailles, The Bentley in London and the original Waldorf-Astoria in New York. Another eight are in the pipeline.
