Jurys trio swap

Hilton and Jurys Inn have signed a deal to convert three Jurys hotels in the London area to Hilton flags. Hotels in Chelsea and Islington will reflag as DoubleTrees while the Jurys at Heathrow becomes a Garden Inn.

Croatian addition

PPHE has signed a new Park Plaza hotel in Medulin, Croatia. The existing Hotel Belvedere will reopen as a Park Plaza with 428 rooms, following a EUR17m refurbishment, in June 2014.

Travel group Carlson has launched a strategic review of its options. The group, which includes Carlson Rezidor hotels and Carlson Wagonlit Travel, has indicated it may sell its TGI Fridays restaurant business.
