Macau is running out of hotel capacity, as events help drive ever more visitors to the destination. Gambling revenues jumped 21% in November, with visitor numbers up due to a boxing match and annual motor race, reports Reuters.

No more hotels are due to open before the end of next year, while a bridge linking with Hong Kong will open in 2016. Casino operators are under pressure to diversify their leisure offering, and are adding non-gaming amenities.
