• Lastminute reinvents

OTA Lastminute has promised to work closer with the travel industry to deliver late offers to consumers via mobile. The company says one third of consumer travel spend is now made spontaneously within three weeks of travel, reports the Telegraph.

Better mobile delivery and a focus on flexibility and price will help return the company to its roots, providing late deals. On average, Lastminute says 24% of hotel rooms go unfilled each day.
