• Starwood Aussie double

Starwood has signed a deal with developer Hiap Hoe to open a Four Points and Aloft in Melbourne. The Four Points will have 300 rooms in a 17 storey tower in Docklands, while the 350 room Aloft will be in Lonsdale Street, reports The Australian.

The Singapore-listed developer is completing both projects, worth AUD700m and each including a residential element. Starwood is to open a Sheraton in Melbourne in March, returning the brand to the city after a nine year absence.
