• UK prospects brighter

Stronger investor appetite is pushing up hotel prices, which rose an average 5.7% in the UK in 2013. Finance for development is beginning to return for projects with management agreements, report Christie+Co in their 2014 outlook.

While London properties remained much in demand, the regions saw values maintained during 2013. Investors are now expecting to see capital growth in the provinces, while increased bank activity is a cause for optimism.
