• Best Western hails growth

Umbrella brand Best Western expects to add more than 130 new properties in 2014, of which almost half will be new builds. Last year was the most successful in the brand’s history, with four new countries added and 98% of member hotels choosing to renew.

Around two thirds of growth is in the premium Best Western Plus and Premier sub-brands, taking the name upmarket. The grouping now links more than 4,000 hotels in more than 100 countries.
