• La Quinta lists

Blackstone’s La Quinta hotel chain has filed its interest in an initial public offering that will raise up to USD100m. The 830 strong chain, one of the largest budget operators in the US, has JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley as underwriters to the offer, reports Reuters.

La Quinta was taken private by Blackstone in 2006, in a USD3.4bn deal. The IPO follows the success of Blackstone’s listing of Hilton, the largest ever hotel IPO that went to market in December.
