• Glyndebourne lifts M&C

Tough conditions in Asia, and refit closures knocked 2013 hotel revenues down 1.5% at Millennium & Copthorne. Higher room rates helped raise revpar 3.4% across the group.

Group revenues grew 35% as the Glyndebourne project in Singapore came on stream. In December M&C bought the Chelsea Harbour hotel, and this year purchased the Novotel in Times Square.
