• Rebrand for Orient Express Hotels

Orient-Express Hotels is to regroup its hotels and travel experiences business under a new brand, Belmond. The company expects the stand-apart name to be more appealing to property owners as it looks to increase its third party management activities.

The move puts the company under the control of the new brand, rather than the Orient-Express name, which it licences. It is planning to spend USD5m in the coming year to promote the Belmond name to existing and new guests.
