• Premier pushes ahead

Whitbread pushed like for like sales at Premier Inn up 8.3% in the last 11 weeks, and 4.7% for the year to mid February. Total sales grew 13.3% for the year, with revpar up 5.1%.

Premier Inn continues to win market share, and grew its rooms available by 5.7% in the fourth quarter. In London, a growing portfolio saw occupancy up 1.5% to 76.5% in the last quarter.
