Customer satisfaction with hotels is slipping, with price rises cited as the main gripe. At the same time, guests perceive no improvement in the amenities they receive, reports Reuters.

Budget and mid market hotel brands did worst in the poll by the American Customer Satisfaction Index. Highest scoring hotel brand was the Ritz-Carlton, owned by Marriott.
