• InterCons change hands
Qatari investor Katara Hospitality has bought a portfolio of five InterContinental branded hotels. The package includes InterCons in Cannes, Amsterdam, Madrid, Frankfurt and Rome, reports the London Times.

The portfolio was acquired from fellow Qatari investor Ghanim bin Saad al-Saad, who bought seven InterCons in 2012; hotels in Budapest and Vienna have already been sold. The deal brings Katara’s hotel portfolio to 32 properties.
