• UK lifts IHG
IHG saw revpar up 5.8% in the first half of the year, led by the US market. In Europe, the UK and Germany performed well, while revenues were hit by refurbishment at the InterCon in Paris. 

The group had its best half year for signings in six years, with 30,000 rooms added. The period also saw the first two EVEN branded properties open, in the USA.
