Sultan Grosvenor deal


The Sultan of Brunei is tipped to buy the Grosvenor House Hotel in London and the Plaza and Dream Downtown hotels in New York, for an estimated USD2.2bn. The hotels are being sold by jailed Indian owner Subrata Roy, reports the London Times.

Starwood is testing a robotic butler at its Aloft hotel in Cupertino, Silicon Valley. The unit, called ALO, delivers items to guest rooms and can navigate the hotel property autonomously.
