• Dubai dips
The summer heat and Ramadan conspired to hit occupancy in Dubai, which fell to 50.3% in July. Revpar fell 7.4% while goppar was negligible at USD0.07, reports Hotstats.

In Riyadh, a mixed picture saw food and banqueting revenues increase while room demand was weak. In Abu Dhabi, stronger recent performance gave hoteliers the confidence to raise rates by 5.1%.
