• Strong summer for Premier Inn
Whitbread grew sale at Premier Inn by 14.7% in the second quarter. Revpar was up 8.6% and occupancy up 3.1% to a record 87%. 

During the first half, sales in the regions outpaced those of the London area. During the first half the company added 758 rooms, and expects to hit a full year target of 4,500 rooms.
