• Landlord upset by Airbnb use

A New York landlord is taking their apartment tenant to court for subletting via Airbnb. The Central Park West occupier has been regularly renting three of her four bedrooms via the site, reports the New York Post.

The tenant generates more than USD8,000 a month, alleges the law suit, breaking subrental restrictions. Guests at the “illegal hotel” posted rave reviews about the premises and their landlady.
