• Meeting service launched

A new reservation system is looking to double the utilisation of hotel meeting rooms. Okanda, headed by former Steigenberger executive Dirk Fuhrer, plans to lift usage to 60% through a simple real-time booking platform. 

The business has received GBP1m in initial funding and has the backing of two German banks. It will launch the service in the UK and Germany later this year, before expanding into other markets.
