• KSL bags Village

Private equity investor KSL Capital Partners has won the bidding for the Village Urban Resort hotel chain. The company has committed to paying more than GBP480m for the 25 strong brand, beating around 20 rivals, reports the London Times.
KSL already owns the Malmaison and Hotel du Vin chains in the UK, and the Belfry golf resort. It has just bought a 46 room hotel in south west London to add to Hotel du Vin, and is looking likely to purchase Great Scotland Yard in London for Malmaison’s first hotel in the capital.
