IHG has placed its InterContinental hotel in Hong Kong up for sale. Agents JLL have been appointed to sell a property that could fetch up to USD1bn, reports Bloomberg.

Oaktree Capital aims to take control of a Spanish hotel and conference centre south of Barcelona. The investor has launched a court action against a consortium of Irish investors who bought the Dolce Sitges hotel in 2006, reports the Sunday Times.

Four Seasons will open five new luxury resorts next year. Properties in Hawaii, Morocco, Bahrain, Miami and a first presence in Seoul, South Korea will open during 2015.

Park Inn for Ankara

 

Carlson Rezidor has signed a Park Inn in Ankara, Turkey. The 112 room hotel will open by mid 2015, and joins similar branded hotels in development in Istanbul, Izmir and Samsun.
