European hoteliers are increasingly confident that 2015 will see an upturn in fortunes. Of those surveyed by Choice Hotels Europe, 55% expect the sector to see a sustained upturn, while 68% expect room rates to perform well.The research found 79% of hoteliers are planning refurbishments, and see stepping up sales and marketing as a key priority. Choice’s Pulsecheck also found that 39% of UK hoteliers reckon they receive several false online reviews every week.
