• Jurys Inn on the block

The owners of Jurys Inn are considering a GBP700m sale or merger of the hotel chain. Credit Suisse and Eastdil Secured have been hired to advise on options for the 31 strong UK chain, reports the Sunday Times.
An ownership consortium includes private equity investors, the Oman Investment Fund, and RBS, which swapped group debts for equity. The group has already agreed a deal to convert three hotels to Hilton flags, though it still operates them.
