• Parity deal offered

Booking.com has offered to cut a price parity demand from contracts, to satisfy European regulators. The move is a bid to halt investigations by French, Swedish and Italian authorities, reports Bloomberg.
The proposal would allow other online sites to potentially undercut Booking.com, something that is currently restricted. EU regulators are coordinating the response, and want comments from the industry by the end of January.
