• Melia gets Cuba boost

Talks to regularise relations between Cuba and the USA have caused a spike in Melia group shares. The Spanish hotel company has 27 properties on the island, reports Bloomberg.
Ending of the longstanding embargo will open up the Cuba market for easier tourism. Cuba is Melia’s third largest market, after Spain and Germany.
