Three major hotel operators are planning to launch new lifestyle or boutique brands this year. Moves by Hyatt, Loews and Langham mean activity in the niche is set to surpass that of a busy 2014, reports the Wall Street Journal.
Hyatt has promised 20 lifestyle hotels internationally, while Loews has launched the OE Collection, an affiliate programme for smaller properties. Hong Kong based Langham has two brands coming, with the first, Cordis, opening in Hong Kong in May.
