Premier Inn has signed four more hotels in Indonesia. Sites in Bali, Bandung, Jakarta and Sentul bring the company’s pipeline in the country to 14 hotels with 1,921 rooms.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts saw revpar up 4.4% in the final quarter and 5.8% for the year overall. Alongside its results, the company revealed plans to spin off its vacation rental business as a separate publicly traded company.

Wyndham saw hotel sector revenues grow 9% in the last quarter, to USD267m. A domestic revpar increase of 8.6% was offset by a 7.8% decline in international revpar.

Sanguine move

Sanguine Hospitality has taken back management of two branded hotels previously passed to Interstate. Hotel Indigo in Birmingham and the DoubleTree Cadbury House in north Somerset will now be managed by New York Italian, a company linked to Sanguine.

Jumeirah adds Sa’adiyat

Jumeirah Group has signed to open a luxury resort on Sa’adiyat Island, Abu Dhabi. The 294 room property is expected to open in 2017 and is promised to be the most luxurious resort in Abu Dhabi.
