• Investors still favour UK

Around GBP1.6bn of UK hotels were transacted in the third quarter. However, revpar growth declined widely, and fell in Aberdeen and Manchester, reports the latest Hotel Bulletin.

Over GBP1bn of transactions were for single assets, including GBP600m for the Grosvenor House hotel in London. The Manchester market is suffering from oversupply, says the bulletin, with a further 1,600 rooms in development.
