• Hotels a bright spot for TUI

TUI Group enjoyed improved occupancy and revenue per bed at its hotels and resorts in Q1 of 2019. Underlying like for like ebitda was up 27.5% to EUR68.7m.

Overall, group turnover was up 4.4% to EUR3.7bn but seasonal losses grew. The tours market continues to be challenging, with shifting demand, and weakness among UK consumers.
