Coronavirus is in danger of tipping the Japanese economy back into recession, say forecasters. The country is expecting a stimulus package from government, which could see spending of more than USD137bn, reports Reuters.
A decision to postpone the Tokyo Olympics to 2021 will hit hotels and airlines, which had expected a boost this year from the event. Premier Shinzo Abe has promised a “big and powerful” government spending package.
