    Ace heads to Sydney

    Ace Hotel has added a site in Sydney, Australia that is expected to open in 2021. Investor Golden Age will develop the property in the city’s Surry Hills neighbourhood. The new build 264 room property will include retention of a local historic building. Ace will open a new hotel in Kyoto, Japan in spring 2020.

    London Ritz for sale

    The Barclay brothers, owners of London’s Ritz hotel, are weighing up a sale. The property could be worth up to GBP800m, reports The Times. The move comes after potential buyers expressed interest in the historic landmark property. The Barclay family bought the hotel in 1995, paying GBP75m.
